Sarah Henry, a writer with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in environmental justice and policy from the University of Florida.

Growing up across Florida's swamplands and beaches, Sarah developed a passion for rural and environmental reporting. She wrote and edited for WUFT, the NPR affiliate in Gainesville, Fla. And her story "Mascot for Cruelty" in Atrium Magazine placed in the top 10 for the 2025 Hearst Journalism Awards feature competition.

Sarah is the sixth Mary Withers Rural Writing Fellowship recipient at Boyd's Station.
