A PLACE TO LIVE FREE AND CREATE
The original idea leading to the founding of Boyd’s Station's was to provide artist studio space and no cost housing for student and professional visual and literary artists in collaboration with the community of Boyd, Kentucky.
That founding idea is the bedrock of Boyd's Station and through various creative residence programs for periods of three months, six months or twelve months, artists can create without distractions in a supportive community of like-minded people seeking to create self-sustaining careers in the arts.
The Old Shed studio space is over 3,000 square feet of finished space available to use year round and with water and heat and all that is neat.
THE LITTLE HOUSE
The Little House is the first Boyd's Station creative residence. The 1950's home was completely remodeled and updated in 2013 able to accommodate up to three people.
