SHOW & TELL | Co-FOUNDER & Creative DiREctor

Shai is a student at Northwestern University and graduate of Saint Ann’s School in NYC and is passionate about writing, art, and theater. Shai has written and showcased poems, a short play, and a short film.

In 2019, Shai was the first high schooler to be selected for a Boyd’s Station program.

Shai along with the other SHOW & TELL creative team lead the annual SHOW & TELL program which invites local Harrison County, Kentucky high school students to come together to create for three weeks each summer in Harrison County.

 

 
 

Shai Bardin, the first high school student selected for a Boyd’s Station program in 2019 teamed with Carolyn Rogers during that inaugural year of SHOW & TELL collaborating to publish the book Exhale: A Collection of Moments while in residence in Harrison County.

DAWN TO DUSK 2019

a foreign body wraps ‘round my neck and dances on my belly.

 

he shudders at my composition (twice as many eyes and only half the focus)

 

I am no cyclops like you, dear python, the divots by my right eye agree

 

he reddens, stiffens, the deer remains stagnant

 

may I touch you? may I hold you? I stroke his nose, he blinks

please, I only need ten…
